Build AI Agents in Databricks (using Claude)

Databricks just made it ridiculously easy to build real AI agents.

Not toy examples.
Not abstract theory.
Actual agents that can answer customer questions, look up data, and take action—like sending emails.

But here’s the problem:

Most tutorials leave out critical steps.
Or they assume you already know how Databricks works.
Or they skip setup entirely and dump you into a finished project.

So I made a video that shows you how I actually got it working:

• Create a support chatbot using Claude Sonnet 3.7

• Pull customer/product data using SQL

• Add vector search to recommend related products

• Trigger email sends via SES or Mailgun

• Deploy everything inside Databricks Playground

It’s not a complete course—but it’s enough to build something real and know what to explore next.
